These designs were produced to enable and inform discussions between the council, community and the current management organisation.

The existing blocks are earmarked for demolition and replacement, but the community is asking that a retrofit option is considered to speed the provision of much needed new homes and to preserve the embodied carbon of the original buildings.

These IP protected proposals show circa 73 TopHuis® Retrofit and NewHomes in the upgraded, extended and improved existing buildings.

The NewHomes include the typical sociable deck access that gives space to grow plants, allowing people to get to know their neighbours and protects the building.
