How we get the personal information and why we have it
Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you because you want to receive updates about affordable housing opportunities from Little Ships. We use the information that you have given us in order to share information with you about Little Ships. We will share this information with people who work with Little Ships and support our work towards building affordable housing on underused publicly owned land.
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

- We need it to perform a public task.
How we store your personal information
Your information is securely stored in password-protected Google Docs filing and email IT system. We plan keep your information for as long as we seek to build affordable homes in the UK, expected to be 20 years, or until you tell us to delete your information. We will then dispose of your information by deleting it. We will remove your information if you request us to do so.
Your data protection rights
Under data protection law, you have rights including:
- Your right of access – You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.
- Your right to rectification – You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
