Ladywood Neighbourhood Office

The derelict neighbourhood office in Ladywood is due to be transferred to a volume housebuilder along with 55 hectares of council owned prime city centre land in Ladywood. The local community are asking the council to transfer the land to them instead on the same terms as the volume housebuilder.

They have come up with proposal to re-imagine neighbourhood office as a community hall with 40 community owned affordable homes above, providing lots of communal space to meet neighbours and grow plants in their 'front gardens' and harvest vegetables in the vertical allotments.

Send us an email if you would like to live in one of these or a similar home in central Birmingham.
